About the exhibit Climate Crisis to Climate Justice
The climate crisis at the macro level impacts global ecosystems from economy to ecology. And at the micro level, it harms and displaces people on the front line.
Climate Justice is a movement that recognizes the disproportionate impacts of climate change. Meaning those who bear the burden of the negative effects of climate change are the people least responsible for them. Simultaneously, many of our frontline communities are usually at the forefront of resiliency, reusing and recycling.
This exhibit aims to uplift our history and lived experiences with our relationship between Mama Pacha, State Sanctioned Violence, and our Senses. As we navigate the elements in the different seasons of our lives, our resiliency becomes our super power, our memories become a path way, and our history becomes Our Story.
